Admissions will open in March 1st week for the academic year 2023-24 at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics University (BASE), Bengaluru, for the Five-year Integrated M.Sc. Economics programme.

The programme offers 75 seats for Indian candidates and 5 seats for PIO/Foreign Nationals, and is a full-time, residential course.

60% of seats are reserved for Karnataka domicile and the remaining 40% will be open to candidates across the country including Karnataka.
Reservation of seats for Karnataka category will be as per Government of Karnataka norms.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed their 2nd PUC/12th Std./Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and Mathematics as a core subject, and obtained a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate (60% for SC/ST category students).

Selection process:
- Admission to the programme will be based on performance in CUET 2023 and as per the eligibility criteria and reservation roster.

Application Process:
- Candidates willing to take admission in this University need to opt for this University as one of the options as a preference in the CUET-2023 application at NTA website and ALSO NEED TO FILL SEPARATE APPLICATION at https://base.ac.in.
- Application forms of BASE will be available from 1st week of March 2023  (Cost of application Rs.600/-)

For PIO/Foreign Nationals, the selection process is based on the merit list of the performance in the respective qualifying examination (2nd PUC/12th Standard/Equivalent examination).
